A weekly sci-fi web comic by HdE

Man’s Reach. The far distant future.

In the wake of a crippling catastrophe, the civilization of mankind lies fractured. Outside the safety of the technologically advanced Core Systems, in the sprawling array of colony worlds now known as The Ruins, day to day life is harsh and unforgiving.

Once nurtured by their parent worlds, the outlying colonies are now left to fend for themselves in a lawless universe. Life is cheap, opportunities rare, and there is danger everywhere. But a fast ship and quick wits might be enough to earn you a livelihood.

One such fast ship is the freight class sliceship Broken Goddess Athena. This is the story of her crew, and her place in the chronicle of Man’s Reach.
